It’s hard to believe that we have already been in school for a few months, but with that information that means fall season is just around the corner.
Personally, fall is my favorite season of the year. School is always such fun during fall; there’s football games and even Halloween movies to go see. I always love making so many memories with friends and family every year, and fall is arguably one of the best times to make them!
Fall season is loved by so many, and is always a great time of year in Salida, Colorado: the crisp foggy mornings, the colored leaves crunching beneath your shoes and all of the holidays soon to come. Fall season is so great, especially when you live as high up in the mountains as we do. The weather may vary, but the activities are endless.
Fall is a great time of year to spend with friends and family. There are so many amazing opportunities to make great memories in fall. This includes going to pumpkin patches, haunted houses, watching scary movies, baking fall dishes and treats and so many more cherishable festivities. This season can be loved by not only children but by adults as well.
Another wonderful thing about fall is all of the decorations! Most people begin decorating their houses in October, but personally as soon as it’s September my house gets covered in fall and Halloween decor, such as a variety of lights and fall scented candles.
There are millions of fall themed foods, sweets and treats that people can look forward to all year long such as, turkey, stuffing, rolls, mashed potatoes and basically all of the best Thanksgiving foods. There’s also pumpkin treats, pumpkin starbucks, and candy apples. There are so many more, but I think that fall is definitely the season for the best food.
Fall has many more fun activities during the school year as well. There are several fall sports that people can enjoy being a part of. This includes soccer, cross country, football, cheerleading and girls volleyball. I think it’s so much fun to dress up for the themes of football games and even volleyball games. Fall is also enjoyed by many during the school year because of Thanksgiving break, which is sadly only about a week, but it’s still a great time to be able to visit loved ones.
Fall is personally my favorite time of the year and is favored by so many people around the world. The season of fall is a great time to spend with loved ones and make new memories during all of the festivities and cooking.
