It took me a lot of time to form healthy habits. I used to think that goals were fake and they did not benefit you, but I think that was just a mental blockage I had because I didn’t want to do the work. I like to set my goals for healthy habits to be for one month, and then from there it becomes an everyday normal thing. With any habit you have to start out small until it becomes something that feels easy, like just another part of your day.
I got on a good sleep schedule that works for every day of the week. Yes, this means I wake up at 6:15 on weekends. I won’t lie to you though, I do take a day every couple weekends to sleep in when I really need it. DON’T HIT SNOOZE. When I used to hit snooze over and over again I felt so sleepy throughout the day and I did not feel refreshed when I woke up. Setting healthier habits changed me for the better.
