My senior year of high school was definitely one to remember. It started off how I thought it would with all my friends from the year before and all the same electives but with some new additions. It progressed on as usual until the first hiccup, I started to fail English and it took me months to get back on top of it and get my grade back up but even then the ultimate grade I will be receiving is a C. in my social life at the same time I was losing touch with one of my friends who had been making grave accusations against another one of my friends that turned out to not be true, so the friend making accusations has been drifted out of my life and it is sad but it’s for the better. Another bump in the road this year, quite literally, I got into a car crash with a group of friends in the last leg of the year which was an intense and weird experience for me, but it ultimately brought me closer to them afterwards. Other than those experiences it was quite a positive year and I can say with confidence that the good moments outweigh the bad ones. Some good examples are my theater performances throughout the year. I started acting this year for the first time since middle school and it was awesome to be on stage again and I can say I’m proud of my two performances I did across the year. Of course the main event of the year was the choir going to New York City to perform in Carnegie Hall, the trip itself was awesome; being in New York for a few days was incredible but oh boy, hitting the stage at Carnegie was truly breathtaking and a life changing experience. Some other performances I’m proud of are my band concerts throughout each semester, with us having a winter and spring concert and also going to Florence to compete where we took first place in our division. The winter concert was fun and full of good moments but this last spring concert was where I was proudest of my performance abilities and I’ll never forget it. Overall this year had some low moments but they are absolutely overshadowed by the highs and everything I did I tried to do with purpose I failed at that sometimes but overall this year was one of my better ones and I’m glad this is the note I get to end high school with.
