Between all of the color changing leaves, the air feels much crisper, the taste of sweet treats with pumpkin and apple spices flood our stomachs, and the sounds of halloween music fill our ears. Fall is a very popular season, especially for me. It has always been my absolute favorite time of the year and is what I can look forward to most at the beginning of a new school year.
Fall is such a sensory filled time of year. There are so many things to look forward to during the season. Everything begins to feel a little cozier with each festive activity.
Not to mention that it is one of the best times of the year to be surrounded by friends at gatherings, carnivals, pumpkin patches, during trick or treating, costume parties, spooky movies, football games, and so many more fan favorite festivities of the season.
I have always felt like my best self in fall–life is so much more aesthetic, comforting and cinematic. Nothing beats the feeling of knowing that all of the activities you get to do are going to feel so nostalgic and magical when you think of them later on and get to look forward to recreating those special memories again the next year.
Fall has always allowed me to have more creative freedom in expressing myself and what fits the season. I love researching and putting together fall outfits, makeup and costumes. Arguably one of the best parts of every single year is trying to find unique Halloween costumes.
Another incredible perk of fall for me would have to be all of the films and TV shows surrounding the season. I look forward to watching my favorite wholesome Halloween movies and Halloween episodes of shows, along with always looking forward to seeing my favorite horror films and getting a good scare with some of my favorite people. It makes everything feel so much more cinematic and allows your imagination to be transported to another realm of spooky possibilities.
Fall is one of those seasons that can just effortlessly be memorable, because it truly is such a loveable time of year. The weather isn’t too hot and isn’t too cold; you can wear long sleeves or a cute tank top if you’re really feeling like it. Not to mention it is the best time of year for everyone to wear Uggs with every single outfit—it never gets old. Fall will always be a magical time and I love being able to experience it in such a beautiful place that really allows the season to shine.
