Tenderfoot Times

Charlie Messa
My name is Charlie Messa. I am a Sophomore at Salida High School. This is my first year writing for Tenderfoot times. I was put into this class because I had a class I needed to fill. I didn’t really think that I wanted to be in this class but it’s actually fun. I heard that it had a big workload and I was worried about that, but it’s not as much work as I thought that it would be. I like being able to write about stuff that isn’t about a book or article that I read for class, it has been a good change of pace.

I lived in Fairplay for 15 years and my freshman year me and my brother moved down here to live with my grandparents, my parents moved down at the end of the year. I like to ski and raft. I am on the high school swim team. In my free time, I like to read, bake, and go for drives.
